5Y Appoints Edward Dixon as Non-Executive Director (ESG)
Mon, May 13, 2024- by Jamille Sammour
- 0.5 minute read

Ed is currently Head of Responsible Investment at Aviva Investors Real Assets, leading ESG and sustainability efforts across the company’s real estate, infrastructure and nature-based solutions — a role he will continue while advising 5Y.
As a non-executive director, Ed will offer advice and guidance to 5Y’s co-founders, chairman and board of directors, helping to grow the company's ESG offering, navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape and shape 5Y’s sustainability efforts as we scale.
He brings 22 years of industry experience with him, having held corporate sustainability and consulting positions at several private and FTSE100 companies, including Landsec and Marks & Spencer. Ed is also an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow at Bayes Business School and an advisory board member at The Land Collective.
Ed’s appointment cements our commitment to solving our clients’ sustainability challenges and helping them take advantage of ESG-related opportunities. His history in the sector—and his specific experiences in climate regulation, data and corporate reporting—mean he is expertly placed to advise on the growing risks facing companies across the UK and Europe in this area.
